Winter In Paris - Day 1

Here im gonna start blogging about my winter trip last month~!

Me, SJ, Wifey & Wilson is going for a trip together at Paris! The city of Love!

Depart early morning from London, 4 of us sleep kinda late the night before, wake up around 4am to get ready, call a cab and head straight to St.Pancras International Rail Station~

we are taking the first train to Paris via Eurostar~

check in, its time for boarding!

we're at coach 2, need to walk abit to find our seat!

oh here we are!

keep our luggages and find our seat~

our Eurostar train tickets~

its only 2 hours train ride from london to paris~ we all fall asleep during the train ride, and already arrived at Paris Nord station when we wake up!

one thing bad about france is its super hard to communicate with them!

hop onto the metro, found our hotel, its still too early to check in, so we went for some breakfast, walk along the street towards Opera, and then start shopping at Lafayette!! The most famous Shopping heaven in Paris! and this time, they got a huge christmas tree in the mall!

we spent a few hours in Lafayette, until around 4pm only we left and head back hotel to check in~ once we got into our room, we all just feel so tired and fall asleep..

waking up at dinner time, we decided to go out for a walk so we dont feel too guilty for wasting our time in paris sleeping.. :(

so we went to Arc de Triomphe!

It look so nice at night with lesser ppl and cars!

Me and SJ missed this place during the last time we came =D im glad that we are here now!

Next we went shopping again along the street beside Arc de Triomphe ~

Surprisingly the shops around there open until midnight, we even still got enough time to shop around, plus having our late late dinner~!

First day in Paris, raining and chilling, but im feeling happy with it already!

First Snow in London 2012

Its SNOWING!!!

well the snow come really late this year, first snow in london started to fall today on 4th February around 7pm, and in just about 1 hour time, the garden outside our apartment is completely covered by snow ady! =D

For me and SJ been living our whole life in Malaysia, and this is like the first time ever for us to experience snowing ^^ and make a snowman! its so fun to play with!

well surprisingly its not too cold when its snowing, so we can still head out and play under the snow! its kind of wet and the floor is slippery, but we had fun~

Sunny Day at Lyon - France

I know my blog is dying! sorry its been real busy lately! and i should really spend some time on my blog and photos! got a so many post from my trip but i havent even got time to look at them yet >.< will try do it as soon okay!

Reunion of the Love Birds

I am SO PROUD of myself!! well this post is not about me, is about Cheryl wifey and Wilson~ they've been separated for few months since september 2011, and finally wilson is paying a visit here on december! Ofcoz wifey is so nervous yet excited to see him after a long time, so on the day that wilson arrived, 3 of us (me, SJ and wifey) go together to the airport to pick him up~

Well on our way to airport, SJ film abit of wifey, coz i say im gonna record it down and make it a nice movie clip for them! actually i dont have anything in my mind that time, just ask SJ to film a little bit of everything, and i'll see what i can do with all that! and yea after m back from our europe trip, busy with planning of our wedding (will talk bout that next time, not so much to update yet :P) and finally i got some free time to arrange and edit all the short clips that we've made! its just a really short one, only 4 min plus, but it took me hours to did that fml...

Anyway im glad that it turn out quite nice (i think) and wifey and wilson like it! im even surprise that some of our frens think that its really touching or romantic >.< see im so happy and proud of myself HAHAHHAAH! well yes you may watch it yourself if you dont believe me :) its my first time to do this kind of editing, first time okay~~ pls be nice wtf...

so its on 18th Dec, guess wifey is the only one who is feeling nervous about it, me and SJ is just accompanying her for this... have to say that the waiting part sucks!

finally wilson is out!!

then wilson found out about the "hidden camera"

its late at night, after had our dinner in the airport, the next thing to do is back to home and sleep! so that we can head out next day in the morning~

again we are here at the famous tourist attraction in London! in front of the Buckingham Palace for Changing of Guard ceremony!

we was there early in order to get a good spot, but its raining that day so not too much of people gathering there~

look! they are having fun in the cold wet day!

before we went off for dinner, we browse thru the christmas market along the Thames River too! say YES to yummy street snacks!

at 8pm, we go for dinner in a restaurant near Victoria station who served some yummy fine dining meal with reasonable price!

its tired for us running around so many different places in one day, but guess everyone is satisfied with it! and its kinda fun too coz normally i'll just sit home facing my computer most of the time, its good to come out for a walk around london~!

Happy Chinese New Year 2012!!

Bye Bunny and Hello Dragon!! Its Chinese New Year again!!

well this is one special year for me coz this is the first time ever in my life that im not celebrating with my Family back in my hometown!! and plus! this is also the last year for me to celebrate with my own parents.. super sad!!

Really dont have much fun to celebrate CNY in London, well yea its kinda happening if we're at the china town, but still it cant compare with celebrating with family! it just doesn't feel right!

So, lonely me and SJ head out for our last min CNY shopping, plan to have our dinner at china town at first, but we're too lazy to travel around, so just randomly picked a Thai restaurant instead!!

didn't manage to get any new cloths, but spot this lovely pair of heels which wifey is eyeing on it for a very long time! she didn't get it coz its selling at freaking GBP 120! well then i saw this put on sale and its my size~ quickly grab it before the store is closing! :P wifey must be very jealous now! sorry!!

hmm whats more for my CNY? i change a new bed sheet! super love this! with the pink and purple flowers all over~ ^^ just nice for CNY!!

Urgh i know right this is the most boring CNY ever!! no Ang Pao no greetings no mandarine oranges no "bak kua" no chinese new year biscuit no fire crackers no kids running around no mahjong no gambling!

BORING!!

Call back home while everyone is there to talk to my family is the only thing i can do! :( how i miss all the food and activities we got only once a year!!

Feeling totally complicated and yet this is always my favorite blog post to write!

WISHLIST UPDATED!!

previously, there is 3 bags in my wishlist, which is a Chanel Petite Timeless Tote, a Lady Dior and also a Mulberry Alexa~

i am not actually wanna get both PTT and Lady Dior at the same time, as i am putting both bags in white, and its both at square shape... so ended up i have to make a decision to pick only one of them~!

after a lonnnng consideration, i decided to go for Lady Dior~! which is a much more classic model than PTT, and well, i dont have any Dior bag with me yet! its always good to have a classic bag for each brand right~~~ >.< so happy!

so my first bag in year 2012 is this new baby!! Lady Dior in Grey Patent leather!

Im choosing between a few different colors that is currently available, i tend to get it in lighter color, which i dont have any yet in my collection so far.. well was thinking to go for white or ivory at first, but its super easy to get dirty that even the display unit in store already got brownish stain on the handles and corner O.O how am i gonna maintain it clean while im carrying it around... mission impossible lor.. its just TOO BAD that they didnt have white or ivory in patent leather... which is SO much durable!

so im choosing between beige and grey, well at the end of the day, i decided to my Lady Dior in Patent Grey, its so pretty coz the leather is with pearl finish! glossy glossy shinny shinny all over the whole bag~ ^^ loving it so so much!!

Well as you can see now~ there is now completely some new item on my wishlish already~ well first is a Hermes wallet, saw it in France during my trip, and fell deeply in love with it~ but since my current wallet is still in very good shape (its kind of hard to ruin a LV epi leather wallet in 2 years), so its not rush at all to get another new wallet~

Secondly is a Chanel PST, since after all, all my bags is small bags and i dont really have a bag which i can bring out for outing and shopping and put alot of things in it... except my LV Neverfull which is abit too casual for outing with my babes.. (i know so many excuses right........ but its true!) anyway, Chanel is raising their price in 2 days, so dont think i m going to buy it anytime soon after witnessing the massive price increase of this particular bag...

Lastly~~ is a Mulberry Mini Alexa~ well i wanted a Alexa at first, but after i got my Prada with crossbody straps, i find that i dont need another medium size sling bag anymore~ plus its really heavy! and seeing wifey carrying her Alexa, i find that its abit big for me =.= well why not i just go for a mini size! so i can have different sizes bag matches all the events im going~! Brilliant!

Conclusion~! not going to buy anymore bags in the near future, coz im buying my mom and sis a wallet each for their birthday~ and family is very important to me! =D so after buying them their gift, i need to work very hard for my next target ady! well its good to always have some motivation right~! >.< so proud of myself wtf!!

Edinburgh Trip 2011

I should have post this blog up last year before i head off for my christmas trip~! well again this is way behind schedule... alright i dont really have any schedule for this actually :P

Date back to June 2011! my first visit the Scotland Edinburgh, this beautiful city really amazed me! well since its so many months ago, i'll just make it a quick post and upload all the photos in here

hop on a train from london early in the morning and begin our journey~

well its a very long journey, and finally there view is getting nicer and nicer when we pass by the sea~

and here we are at Edinburgh Train Station~

first thing to do, is find the way to our hotel~

check into our hotel and start exploring the city!

we're so lucky to have the beautiful blue sky and weather~

the most important part is... the button is so few and very simple to understand! easy to use even for people like me hahaha~!

Alright~~ so happy that finally im finish with my SUMMER post!! Hooray!!! I know right... i didn't really write much for this post :P but i got alot of nice photos!

Love in London Night

Another shot of me and SJ, done months ago when Cheryl wifey is visiting us in London~ finally there is someone who can help us to take some photo instead of using the lousy tripod! well ofcoz, the photo posted up here is a few out of... hundred of shots that wifey took for us~ after SJ done all the setting on the camera, she just keep pressing the shutter and capture us in all different angle with different pose and position~ anyway she've done a surprisingly great job isn't it?

I'm Engaged!!

Under The Night Sky in Barcelona~

Cant believe that my first post in 2012 gonna be announcing this~ ^^

Well everything happened so quickly, just when me and wifey still discussing that why there is so many couples get engaged recently, and then next is my turn!! what a trend!

okay long story short! here is some details of the night~

30th December 2011, thats the 2nd day after we arrived at Barcelona, we went to the famous Magic Fountain for the music, lights, and fountain show at night

the show start and lasted for 25mins~

the night is cold and windy, we sit and cuddled tightly side by side :)

it feel awesome seeing all the lights and water keep changing colors and danced with the rhythm~

the show goes on..

we both covered by cold water becoz the wind is too strong, it bring all the water towards the audiences!

after the show ended, SJ suggested that we stayed awhile and take more photos of the fountain~

I think he is too nervous if there is too many people around, so he make us stay there~ we spend lots of time walking around and taking pics, talking about everything that we've gone through..

When the fountain area is getting really quiet, SJ lead me to the center of the square infront of the fountain, make me sit down beside the fountain, he then turn on the camera on recording mode, ask me to hold it on my knee.

He start walking away from me, than stop and turn around, took out something from his pocket..

Its too dark and i cant really see it clearly from far, but my heart begins to beat so quickly and i feel that there is something gonna happen!

He smile and start shouting, when i heard what he said, it really make me burst into tears!

he shouted : "许亦蕊，嫁给我!"

(Marry Me, Koo Yee Lei)

my eyes filled with tears, i feel like listen to it one more time, so i said "I cant hear you~!"

so he shouted again : "许亦蕊，可不可以嫁给我"

(Will you marry me Koo Yee Lei)

my brain goes blank after that, all i know is just crying non-stop, which i had no idea why and i cant seem to control myself, i wanted to shout back a "YES" but i can hardly say a word, all i do is just nodding my head and make a sound like "en" "嗯" to accept his proposal..

He than only walk towards me, kneel on one knee, open up the box, and put the ring into my finger..

my eyes is all blur, i dont even know how my rings look like at the time, i continue crying and crying non stop, he hold my hand tightly, and start making all his promises.. well to me, he is just mumbling alot coz i m not calm enough to listen to it at all! even after i play back the recording, all i hear is only my crying sound wtf >.< recording failed!

later on, i realize that my makeup is all ruined, fake eye lashes also dropping off due to too much of tears, he wipe away my tears with his shirt, coz i dont have any tissue with me!

my whole face and eyes is all red and swollen, and i start blaming him for making me cry! i refuse to go back to the hotel with my pig face, although SJ insisted that i look absolutely pretty =.= still i insisted at least to wait awhile more till my face is not too swollen..

SJ bring me walk all the way up to the highest point in the center, which we get a panoramic night view of Barcelona, we sit on the stairway, looking down to the city under the night sky, along with the chilling breeze, everything instantly become so perfect to me..

This is where we start our new life.. our whole new relationship

witness by the moon, stars and lights..

back into the hotel, call back home, inform my family, wifey and my close friends, and finally on facebook, twitter, instagram and tumblr..

received so many congratulations and blessings from all my friends and family, i know that everyone feel happy for us, after being together for almost 5 years, everyone think that its the right time for us to do this :)

mom and dad is so excited too, i feel relieved when saw their smiling face when i called back :)

well most of them agree that my ring is so beautiful and suit me alot =D and yea i do think the same!

SJ bought this ring during our trip to Amsterdam, i didn't know im such a pig and didn't realize he went out to get the ring in one of the morning... couldn't believe that he hide it so well for so long while we are living together! well he later confess that he plan to proposed to me when we are at Tromso chasing for Northern Light, just too bad that we didn't get to see it else he gonna do it under the Aurora, i was like AWWWW! I suppose to get it way earlier!

Anyway~ im glad and happy for now.. everything seem just too good and i had a great ending of 2011, and great beginning of 2012 too!

After SJ help me to do the shoot with my Chanel, i nag him to do a shoot for both of us! im really good at nagging him =D he insisted not to do it, but i keep forcing him, well coz i say its gonna look good and we never try to do a shoot for ourself before~ well except when Cheryl is with us, she will be our temporary photographer... other than that, only tripod can help us~

so trying our very best to set up everything, but once the timer start blinking, we both is so nervous and dont know what or how to pose! well in the 10mins, we keep changing pose, but ended up some of the photo is totally out of focus, some with very weird posing, and some with bad cropping, luckily there is still few photos that we think look alright.. next time, better only do it when wifey is here to help!!

Nottingham is way too boring to live in, after one week of staying in during June, we make a trip to London again~

This is our first time in here~ the museum look super grand from the outside!

cant wait to go in~

In the museum~ its HUGE!! so many different section of exhibition to go~ plus~ its Free of Charge to go in!

lots of statute from different century and different country displaying in here~ well we spend most of our time checking out at all the display item, and didn't take much photos! :(

until we're at the Egyptian section! so many mummies!!

look kind of scary! what if they all sit up and started walking??

and i think the make up look kind of familiar... check out the eyeliner.. just like what we girls draw nowadays right...

the next day is shopping day! hopping between Harrods, Selfridges and then Bicester Village! and this is all we got for the day~ ^^

shopping is tiring.. back at hotel and the next thing to do is sleep!! need to get enough of rest for tomorrow~

Premium Tour is one of my favorite tour company in london~ we are joining their tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath!

arrive at the meeting point early in the morning and hop on the bus~

our group depart early from london and head straight to Windsor Castle, but the queue to the Castle is already freaking long!

finally we pass the security check at the entrance, collected our audio guide and time for some history~

the castle area is so huge that everyone have to walk about 10min to the building~

lets get in~ well.. one thing bad is that we are not allowed to take any photo in the castle area :( cant show you guys the magnificent interior of Windsor castle >.< what a waste!

only about 1 and a half hours in the castle~ and we need to walk out for the Change of guard ceremony~

anyway, this is a very good place to chill and relax~ especially walking around the stonehenge while blowing by the wind =D

another beautiful city in here, famous for roman bath~

saw these people performing some very unique sound with this kind of instrument that i've never seen before~

had some pastry at the local cafe, next we go explore around the city area~

why do they name their street "Cheap Street" wtf

2 hours bus ride and reach back in London, been walking alot and seeing alot for the few days, satisfied and happy yet abit of tired~ but travelling always make us feeling excited =D

Lady Fleeing from The Rain

Yes this is me, fleeing from the rain!! Shopping at Biscester Village with SJ about 2 weeks ago, it started to rain during my shopping time, so we decided to go for some coffee and dessert while waiting for the rain to stop~ Ordered a super yummy Creme Brulee and a hot chocolate, and enjoy a moment just for the two of us~

Paris Summer Trip 2011

We plan a short trip to Paris during June, summer time is always the best temperature for travelling in europe!

its already evening when we arrived and check into our apartment, so just go to one of the local restaurant for dinner!

they served us a kind of lamb soup with rice in it~ traditional french cuisine yo!

its a big musical festival that day when we arrived, and the street right beside us is full of local people and tourist, drinking singing dancing for the whole night!

well, the interior is super grand ofcoz!!

we spent one full day in Lafeyatte, its a madness doing shopping in there, trust me, Paris is never a shopping heaven, coz need to queue for at least 15min to get in a store, for Chanel? freaking 30min just to get in, and need to wait till there is someone to serve you! and they always run out of everything :( bad!!

more shopping spree! and then we're at the Opera~

bought some macarons back! i wonder why its always cheaper to take away then eating in the cafe~

anyway it taste the same~!

Dinner time~ French cuisine again~ this time at a nice restaurant around the corner of our apartment~

We take the noon flight back to UK the next day, its abit rush for our trip since its only 3 nights! not enough time at all!

well, Paris in summer, the only thing good is the temperature...

Make a trip down to Birmingham 2 days ago, and finally can have some time to do some shopping, London is way too many people anytime anywhere any day any shops, you will need to queue for fitting room and cashier even if its a Monday morning in whatever Topshop or H&M or Gap or shit wtf... make me feel tired everytime just by thinking of going for some shopping..

Feel so happy that situation like this doesn't happen in Birmingham Bullrings Shopping Center~ well its a weekday ofcoz~ but glad that i can take my own sweet time look at everything slowly and just the way i like!

its getting colder each day here in London, and the snow is started to fall, bought few pairs of leg warmer, main purpose is to wear it to bed wtf..

reach back home, and decided to do a shot with my new leg warmers, choose to shoot with the pairs with the biggest contrast which is Black and Hot Pink, and the mood come out differently~ i love it lots~ ^^

When Parents in town!

I need to settle these few post QUICK before im heading to my next trip! so you guys wont get confuse =D

During our previous stay in UK, SJ's parents made a trip down to visit us in June~

We spent some time in London before heading back to Nottingham, for sightseeing and also shopping~

we were at Westfield London the other day, and had our lunch at Jamie's Italian~

A big fan of Jamie in the house!

there is some Jamie's cookbook selling in his restaurant~

we enjoy our food very much!!

One of the best thing to have them with us is~ always had good food and great wine ^^ without worrying about hurting our pocket :P

Noting Hill Hotel~

Just 2 days in london, most of the time is doing shopping, and only we take a train back to Nottingham~ Its summer time, just the right time for yummy juicy huge strawberries!

feeling excited ady!

we got about 1 whole week in Nottingham doing nothing, just normal routine for groceries shopping~ well its kind of fun to see them fighting over what to cook for dinner and what to buy for breakfast!

we cook most of our meal at home, spent lots of quality time together~

when i say quality time.. is when the son is making breakfast..

the parents is busy playing games!!

gotcha!! new iphone addict!

well the situation is totally opposite when back in Malaysia~ while mom is making food and kids is playing games! and finally the parents can somehow enjoy and be lazy once in a while, wait for the breakfast to be served!

Me and SJ is all dressed up for a party few days back, ended up he is not feeling well after dinner, so we head home instead, and decided to do a quick shot with my Chanel baby~ =D

Venice Trip 2011 - Day 5

Day 5 in Venice~ its time to say good bye~

After having our breakfast, back in to our hotel room, need to pack up all our messy stuffs!!

we arrived at the bus station, and its still early till the bus to airport is ready to depart, i quickly take out the biscuit that i "bring out" from the hotel during breakfast =D

after finish all 5 packs of biscuits, time to board on the bus to airport~

arrived at Marco Polo airport, drop our luggage, pass the security, then its time for lunch!

we choose to have our lunch in this nice cafe~

had our last meal in Venice, full and satisfying~ board on the plane and fly back to London...

kinda happy with my whole trip, everything went smoothly, and the experience is great! what a lovely place to visit~ ofcoz! best for lovers! ;)
